I am a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist in the State of New York. I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, and acquired clinical experience in the dietetic internship program at NYU Medical Center. I hold Certificates of Training in both Adult Weight Management and Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management. I am also a Certified Health Coach.
I am a proud mother of three, and they have me constantly on the go. My favorite recipes to make for my family are smoothies, salads, and baked goods for the occasional "sometimes treats". I enjoy taking walks outside, riding my Peloton bike, practicing yoga and meditation, and being a spectator and the biggest fan at my children's various sporting events.
I believe in a person-centered approach to nutrition and health considering the client’s physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. I hope to inspire clients, and I am committed to improving the health and wellness of clients by treating them with respect. I truly believe that they are capable of changing, and trust that they can make the best decisions for their own lives. I will collaborate with clients to empower them to make lifestyle changes that focus on developing healthy habits with nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management. Weight management and positive self image can be achieved when you discover a healthy lifestyle plan that works for you, and one that you can continue with the rest of your life. Making your health a priority and taking time for self-care allows you to be the best version of yourself!
My passion is helping children, teens, and young adults. It is so important for young people to learn about healthy eating patterns. As an experienced nutritionist in pediatrics, I believe the earlier we introduce healthy habits, the more likely these behaviors will be incorporated into everyday life, and will follow them for years to come. We can work together to take a family friendly approach to eating healthfully. I will be able to support parents and children in discovering ways to get the whole family involved to make meals fun and memorable!
